The department received a report of the fire at 120 Clark Ave., around noon, according to Deputy Fire Chief John Quatieri . The fire was knocked down around 2 p.m.

Quatieri said the fire was heavy in the attic of the two-story, wood-frame building when firefighters arrived. He said the damage to the house “seemed pretty extensive” and like it may be a “total loss.”
