Firefighters quickly knocked down a fire at a Glendale home Wednesday morning, but not before confronting massive flames shooting through the roof.

Crews were called to the neighborhood of 64th Avenue and Bethany Home Road at about 9 a.m.

Smoke pouring off the house was visible for miles.
